About the SW-4000D
Strapping and stretch wrapping usually happen at two different machines, which means two forklift moves, two queues and two operators. The SW-4000D puts both in one cell. A rack-and-pinion lift with synchronous-belt traverse positions the strapping head precisely, band tension is adjustable from 20 to 250 kg (200–2500 N), and the stretch carriage reaches 250 % film yield. Four modes — strap-then-wrap, wrap-then-strap, strap only, wrap only — are selected on the Siemens touchscreen, so the same machine serves a mixed order book. One-touch start, automatic reset and host communication make it straightforward to slot into an existing dispatch bay or an automated line.

Automatic top-sheet + top-press head
Adds a driven top-film head and a pneumatic press plate so the load is held square while a PE cover sheet is applied and sealed.

Where the SW-4000D earns its keep
Dense high-bay storage from a 1.9 m aisle
Multi-directional trucks travel sideways down the aisle, so the main aisle only has to be as wide as the load — not as wide as the truck plus its turning circle.
Masts up, ready to load
Trucks are staged with masts raised so the container loading plan can be checked against actual heights before anything is lifted.
SW-4000D — buyer questions
Which strap should we buy?+
16 mm PET band, 0.7–0.9 mm thick, on a 406 mm core. PET has the strength of steel band without the safety risk.
Can it strap at more than one height?+
Yes. The rack-and-pinion lift positions the head at any height within the working range, and the HMI stores the pattern per product.
